Hello! My name is Samantha (she/her/hers) but feel free to call me Sam. I’m a clinical therapist with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 2011 and went on to complete my Master of Social Work degree at Wayne State University in 2022. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I enjoy working with clients of all ages - from young children to adults - that are experiencing the challenges of today’s world including anxiety, depression, and other more intense emotions and issues.
My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel empowered to grow, gain insight, and develop the tools you need to move forward. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel supported, empowered, and truly heard. It would be my honor and privilege to work together with you.
